1. Books for Kids with Seeds of Caring 

Seeds of Caring believes that anything is possible when we all take action on a need we see in the world (no matter how old we are). Join us for our Anywhere Book Drive project now through November 15. Families will collect gently used books and make beautiful bookmarks to be given to the kids at NNEMAP Food Pantry. Sign up today and let’s take action together! 

2. Grand Opening of Public Lands

The Grand Opening of Public Lands at Polaris Fashion Place will be celebrated Friday through Sunday with special events happening all day, each day! Activities include live music, food trucks, crafts for kids, rock climbing, demos, raffles, meet and greet opportunities, contests and much more!

3. National Bison Day at Battelle Darby Creek Metro Park Nature Center

Celebrate 10 years of bison on the Darby Plains at Battelle Darby Creek Metro Park with crafts, games and snacks! Learn all about bison with a special program at 1:00, 2:00 and 3:00 PM on Saturday. A movie about bison will be shown at 2:00 PM.

4. Storytime with Sedgie the Hedgie! (Livestream)

Enjoy a story and rhymes about Sedgie the Hedgehog! Perfect for ages 2-6. Log on to the Facebook page on Saturday at 10:00 AM.

5. Celebrate Día de los Muertos at the Columbus Museum of Art

Celebrate the origins of Día de los Muertos with live salsa music, art activities, a community ofrenda and more. Admission will be $5 all day Saturday!

6. Grown-Up & Me Foxes at Purple Dog Art Studio

Paint foxes with your child in this grown-up and me class on Saturday at 3:30 PM! Register in advance .

7. Santa Wonderland at Cabela’s

Santa arrives at Cabelas on Saturday at 5:00 PM. Photos with Santa begin on Sunday at 10:00 AM and you must register in advance for an appointment!

8. For Families: Amazing Autumn Leaves at Blendon Woods Metro Park

Drop by the Nature Center at Blendon Woods Metro Park for fun activities with autumn leaves on Sunday between 1:00 PM and 3:00 PM.
