This week I’m continuing to give you ideas for things to do with the kids while we are asked to stay home! Each week’s list is really applicable at all times, so make sure you check back through the older lists for more ideas!
10 Things to do at Home with the Kids this Weekend:
1. Make a Shark Photo Frame courtesy of Greater Cleveland Aquarium.
This looks like a fun craft! You need construction paper, heavy paper (like a manila folder), glue, scissors and a marker.

2. CATCO is Storytime
Join CATCO is Kids for a virtual birthday party and story time! This video includes a reading of Dr. Seuss’ Happy Birthday to You! and is perfect for any kid who has to celebrate a birthday during our Stay at Home time.
3. Online Storytime with Columbus Metropolitan Library
Virtual story times continue from CML and this story is The Widemouthed Frog, a cute pop up book.
4. Virtual Experiences at Franklin Park Conservatory
Franklin Park Conservatory continues to add to their virtual experiences. Check the website or watch this virtual tour of what’s blooming in the Children’s Garden!
5. Color Famous People from Not Your Mama’s Craft Market
Print out and color Georgia O’Keeffe, Andy Warhol, Bob Ross, and more! There are a total of 6 artists to color and they’ve also included some YouTube videos about each artist on their website.

7. Zoo Craft Time with The Toledo Zoo
This video from The Toledo Zoo teaching kids how to make homemade bird feeders!
8. Lunch and Learn with the Akron Zoo
Every day at noon, the Akron Zoo features a Lunch and Learn on Facebook Live! You can scroll through their Facebook page to watch all of the past videos or tune in live!
9. Learn about Music from Rock Hard EDU
Search the music education content from the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland! You can narrow your search by decade, grade group subject and media type. Info available includes images, lesson plans and activities, videos, audio files, playlists and more!
10. Dance with the Duke Energy Children’s Museum in Cincinnati
Let the kids get out their excess energy by watching these dance party videos from the Children’s Museum in Cincinnati! The videos also include activities like making a tambourine and blowing bubbles! You can also listen to their Dance Party Playlist!
