1. Play Unstoppable Festival Event at LEGOLAND Discovery Center Columbus
From March 23-May 12, 2024 at LEGOLAND Discovery Center Columbus you can enjoy the new LEGO Friends 4D Movie, design your own flowers, enjoy dance parties, go on a MINILAND scavenger hunt, create a festival animal and more during the Play Unstoppable Festival Event. This event takes place during regular hours and is included with admission.
2. Mission: Kid Possible Nature Trail at Blendon Woods Metro Park
Complete mission activities on the Ripple Rock/Hickory Ridge Trail Loop at Blendon Woods to become a Nature Expert! Available during regular park hours throughout the whole month of April!
3. TITANIC: The Artifact Exhibition at COSI
See over 200 authentic artifacts rescued from the wreckage site of Titanic including full-room recreations! There is an additional cost for this exhibit which will be available at COSI daily during regular hours through September 2, 2024. Reservations are strongly encouraged!
4. Blooms and Butterflies at Franklin Park Conservatory
Blooms and Butterflies is open at Franklin Park Conservatory! You can walk through the Pacific Island Water Garden to see free-flying butterflies. Check out the Metamorphosis Lab to see new butterflies emerge from their chrysalis. Daily hours are 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
5. Read All About It! Donate New & Gently Used Kids’ Books with Seeds of Caring
You can help Seeds of Caring and 2nd & 7 make sure every child has access to books in their home! Our age-appropriate discussion guide and video teach kids 2-12 about literacy and service. Then helping hands can color bookmarks and select 2+ gently used or new children’s books to donate. Families and groups can participate any time through April 14.
6. Shrek the Musical at Grove City High School
Enjoy this story of an unlikely hero on a life-changing journey! This show takes place Thursday through Sunday at Grove City High School Auditorium. Shows are at 7:00 PM on Thursday, Friday and Saturday and there is a 2:00 show on Saturday and Sunday. Tickets are available online.

7. Bingo Night at Family Room Coffee & Bake Shop
Head to Family Room Coffee & Bake Shop for a game of BINGO on Friday night from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM. Win prizes and treats!
8. Hip-Hop Family Glow Skate at United Skates of America
Skate to Hip Hop Music on Friday night from 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM at United Skates of America.
9. Searching for Salamanders at Sharon Woods Metro Park
Search for salamanders on an off-trail adventure at Sharon Woods Spring Hollow on Friday from 7:00 PM – 8:00 PM. Be prepared to get muddy.
10. UNEXTINCT at Columbus Zoo and Aquarium
On Friday and Saturday at 7:30 PM to 10:30 PM explore a world of illusions and extraordinary wildlife at this special engagement event at the Columbus Zoo. There are 15 scenes to experience. Tickets are available online.
11. TownHall Weekend Brunch for Kids
Every Saturday and Sunday from 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM enjoy a family-friendly brunch at TownHall that includes live magic shows, games, a kids’ menu and more. Seating is first come, first served.
12. Storytime with Author Justyna Coppus at Cover to Cover
Enjoy a storytime featuring the book Eleven From Heaven by author Justyna Coppus at Cover to Cover Books for Young Readers on Saturday from 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM.

14. Open Studio at Columbus Museum of Art
On Saturday from 10:00 AM – 3:30 PM, stop into the Studio at Columbus Museum of Art for the opportunity to create! All ages are welcome and all supplies are included! April’s theme is Small Worlds and will feature the opportunity to create your own miniature universe!
15. Bluey Saturday Skating at Skate Zone 71
Skate with Bluey at Skate Zone 71 on Saturday from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM. This is a Tiny Tot Skating Session and tickets are available in advance.
16. Sheep on the Farm at Slate Run Farm
Watch sheep shearing, meet lambs and learn about wool at Slate Run Farm on Saturday from 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM.
17. Recycled Crafts at Blacklick Woods Metro Park

18. Newark Earthworks Open House
Ohio History Center is celebrating World Heritage Week April 13-21 at Hopewell Ceremonial Earthworks Sites. On Sunday from 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM you can enjoy open houses at the Great Circle Earthworks and Octagon Earthworks where you can explore the largest set of geometric earthworks in the world! 19. KID RAVE 2: A Family Friendly EDM Event @ Skully’s Music Diner
KID RAVE at Skully’s Music Diner is for ages 4-12 and is designed to introduce the youth to electronic music. The event is on Sunday from 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM and includes face painting, arts & crafts, and small seminars on DJing and music production. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
20. El Dia de los Ninos at Lincoln Theatre
On Sunday from 1:30 PM – 4:00 PM enjoy cultural arts and activities and a free performance of Havana Hop at Lincoln Theatre. There will be music, dance, crafts a food truck and more! Space is limited and registration is suggested.
21. Community Concert at Hilltop Library
This concert by ProMusica features A Day at the Zoo! It will take place on Sunday at 3:00 PM at the Hilltop Branch of CML and include stories and live music.
