1. Blooms and Butterflies at Franklin Park Conservatory
Walk through hundreds of butterflies inside the Pacific Island Water Garden at Franklin Park Conservatory. In the Metamorphosis Lab, you can watch butterflies emerge from their chrysalises. This activity is included in general admission and takes place daily from 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM through July 5, 2026.
2. Mythic Creatures at COSI
Learn about the natural and cultural roots of mythological creatures from Asia, Europe, the Americas and beyond at this temporary exhibit at COSI. This exhibit will be on display through September 7th and is included in general admission during daily COSI hours (generally Wednesday through Sunday, 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM).
3. Photos with Bunny at Polaris Fashion Place
Visit with the Bunny at Polaris Fashion Place through April 4. You can book your reservation online or just walk up. All kids 13 and under will receive a coupon for a free small gelato from I Scream Gelato while supplies last. Check the link for exact hours because they change as Easter gets closer. You can also register for a Sensory Bunny event on March 15th.
4. Eggs, Paws, & Claws at Columbus Zoo and Aquarium
This celebration takes place on Friday and Saturday from 9:15 AM – 5:00 PM at the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium. It includes photos with the Eater Bunny, a Rolling Shell-ebration, Character Ambassador Meet and Greets, an Eggs-splore and Find activity, keeper talks and more! Tickets are available online. (included in membership/general admission).
5. Spring Art Breaks at Columbus Museum of Art
This event takes place in the Studio at the Columbus Museum of Art. The whole family can explore creative activities with unexpected materials from 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM (10 AM-11 AM is a quiet hour) on Friday. (included in admission).
6. Playtime at the Westerville Public Library
Play with parachutes, sensory bins, bubbles and more with The Play Spot at Westerville Public Library on Friday from 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM.

7. DIY Fairy Houses at Northwest Library
Build your own Fairy House at the Northwest Library on Friday from 10:30 AM – 12:30 PM. All supplies will be provided. Ages 6-11.
8. Baby & Me Tours at Columbus Museum of Art
This event on Friday from 10:30 AM – 11:45 AM is for children 0-2 and their caregivers. There will be a specialty tour and opportunities to explore and play. The theme is Spring Playlist and registration is required. (Free for members).
9. Farm Animals at Franklin Park Conservatory
Get up close with farm animals like rabbits, goats, sheep and more at the Franklin Park Conservatory on Friday at 11:00 AM and 2:00 PM. Included in regular admission.
10. Good Friday Fun at Olentangy Caverns
Register in advance for this Easter Egg Hunt featuring rocks and gems at Olentangy Caverns on Friday at 11:00 AM and 1:00 PM. Each participant gets a cloth keepsake bag for their new rock collection. This special Good Friday event also includes cotton candy from Cotton Sugar from 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM and free balloon twisting from 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM.
11. Photos with the Easter Bunny at Easton Town Center
Take your own pic with the Easter Bunny on Level 2 of the Station Building at Easton Town Center on Friday, April 3: 2 PM-6:30 PM and Saturday, April 4: 12 PM-5:30 PM.
12. Flashlight Egg Hunt at Glacier Ridge Metro Park
Search for eggs after dark at Glacier Ridge Metro Park on Friday night. Registration begins at 7:45 PM and the egg hunt starts promptly at 8:15 PM. Bring your own flashlight and bag.
13. Bunny Breakfast at Coffee Connections
Enjoy pancakes and pictures with the Easter Bunny at Coffee Connections of Hilliard on Saturday from 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM. Donations will be accepted.

14. Groveport’s Easter-Eggs-perience
The Easter Eggs-perience in Groveport includes egg hunts, free activities like face painting, petting zoo, bounce house, and photos with the Easter Bunny. There will be food trucks on site and special prizes. The event takes place in Heritage Park from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM on Saturday. (Egg Hunts taking place at 10:00 AM and 10:10 AM.)
15. Jigsaw Puzzle Exchange at Northwest Library
Bring a puzzle, take a puzzle at this puzzle exchange at Northwest Library on Saturday between 10:00 AM and 11:30 AM.
16. LEGO Easter Egg Hunt at Bricks and Minifigs Powell & Westerville
Take part in a free LEGO Easter Egg Hunt at either the Bricks & Minifigs Powell and Bricks & Minifigs Westerville on Saturday at 10:00 AM. Eggs will be hidden throughout the stores filled with candy, LEGO and more. 5 golden eggs will get gift certificates. 1 egg per customer.
17. Hockey Storytime at Main Library
Enjoy a hockey-themed story time with songs, skating moves, stories AND a visit from Stinger, the Columbus Blue Jacket’s mascot beginning at 11:00 AM on Saturday.
18. Cherry Blossom Festival at Franklin Park
The Opening Event of the Cherry Blossom Festival includes exhibits, games, performances and a scavenger hunt on Saturday from 11:00 AM – 4:00 PM at Franklin Park.
19. Rock and Gem Easter Egg Hunt at Olentangy Caverns
Register in advance for this Easter Egg Hunt featuring rocks and gems at Olentangy Caverns on Saturday at 11:00 AM and 1:00 PM. Each participant gets a cloth keepsake bag for their new rock collection.

20. Egg Scramble at Jefferson Community Park
Search for eggs at this hunt at Jefferson Community Park in Blacklick on Saturday, beginning promptly at 11:10 AM. There will be snacks, treat bags, activities and a visit with Mr. Bunny.
21. Historic Dublin Bunny Hop
Hop around Historic Dublin to hunt for bunnies. Pick up your card from the Dublin Historical Museum, Getaway Brewing, or Dublin Toy Emporium and return it to the North High / CoHatch back patio for prizes and pictures with the Easter Bunny. This event takes place on Saturday from 12:00 PM – 3:00 PM.

22. Pictures with the Easter Bunny at Witten Farm Market and Bakery
On Saturday from 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM, you can take your own free photos with Peter Cottontail at Witten Farm Market and Bakery.
23. Easter Drip & Paint at The Scratch House
Drip, pour or paint your own bunny sculpture on Saturday from 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM at the Linden Event Space. There will be a picture and activity time following the free craft. Register online.
24. Drop in: Squirrel World at Highbanks Metro Park
Drop in to the Highbanks Nature Center on Saturday between 1:00 PM and 3:00 PM on Saturday to learn more about squirrels through themed activities, a scavenger hunt and a take-home craft.

Drop into the Farmhouse at Slate Run Farm to learn about Easter traditions and make a craft on Saturday between 1:00 PM and 3:00 PM.

26. April Gallery Hop in the Short North Arts District
Explore the Short North on Saturday from 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM when galleries and businesses stay open late. Enjoy live street performances including a chalk artist, a percussion ensemble, singer/songwriters and more. Check the link for more special events and activities.
27. Ohio Roller Derby at Ohio Expo Center
Watch the Ohio Roller Derby take on the Black Rose Rollers on Saturday at 5:00 PM. Games are kid-friendly and roller derby players will pose for pics and give autographs. Children 7 and under are free. Tickets are available online.
28. April Community Day at Franklin Park Conservatory
Community Day is free for Residents of Columbus and Franklin County this Sunday from 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM. Identification is required. Sunday will be the JASCO Cherry Blossom Festival, which includes origami, calligraphy, live musical performances, a Japanese dance performance, a Sumo wrestling workshop, food trucks and other food vendors and much more.
29. Easter Sunday Family Skating at United Skates of America
Enjoy a family skate on Easter Sunday from 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM at United Skates of America.
30. Coming Up: Free, Kid-Friendly Earth Day Event on April 18
Calling all planet protectors! Families and groups are welcome to this FREE celebration filled with indoor and outdoor environmental activities, hosted by Seeds of Caring. The Grange Insurance Audubon Center has so much space to spread out, learn, and have lots of hands-on fun on their beautiful property. Come and explore at 10am or 12 noon!
