1. Preschool: Cottontail at Clover Crescent at Blendon Woods Metro Park
On Friday at 10:00 AM learn about bunnies with literature, crafts and activities for preschoolers. Event takes place at the Nature Center at Blendon Woods Metro Park.
2. Celebrate Earth Day at Seldom Seen Park – Cancelled due to weather
Celebrate Earth Day by exploring wetlands, a bug display from The BugMan, and meeting native Ohio animals. Take home a free seedling, visit the Bookmobile and more! This event takes place on Friday at 6:30 PM.
3. Grove City EcoFest in Grove City Town Center
Grove City EcoFest takes place on Saturday from 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM and includes green exhibitors, family-friendly activities, a Kids Zone and Farmer’s Market.

4. Pickerington Earth Day Clean Up and Celebration at Combustion Brewery & Taproom
Help pick up trash at local parks and then join the Earth Day celebration at Combustion Brewery and Taproom that includes food trucks, live music, free snacks, children’s activities and more! Event is Saturday from 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM.
5. Ohio Village Weekends
Ohio Village at Ohio History Center is now open on the weekends! Visit on Saturdays and Sundays through May 21st from 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM. Included in regular admission or membership.

6. 2023 Ohioana Book Festival at Columbus Metropolitan Library
The Ohioana Book Festival features Ohio authors and includes book signings, author readings, storytimes for kids, food trucks and more! The festival takes place on Saturday from 10:30 AM – 4:30 PM at the Main Library.
7. Discovery Station in the Children’s Garden at Franklin Park Conservatory
Drop in to this hands-on learning activity at the Learning Pavilion in the Children’s Garden at Franklin Park Conservatory between 10:30 AM – 1:00 PM each day beginning April 22 through April 30, 2023.
8. The Rock and Roll Playhouse at Woodlands Tavern
This family concert series on Saturday at 11:00 AM allows kids to move, play and sing while listening to works from the classic-rock canon. Ideal for kids ages 10 and under and kids must be accompanied by and adult! Tickets available online.
9. Earth Day Columbus Celebration at Genoa Park
Columbus’ Earth Day Celebration features children’s activities including face painting, balloon art, science demonstrations and more. There will also be live music, vendors, food trucks and more! This is a free event on Saturday from 12:00 PM – 9:00 PM.
10. Planet Palooza at Blacklick Woods Metro Park
This free Earth Day celebration takes place at Blacklick Woods Metro Park from 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM on Saturday. It features games, crafts, live animals and community environmental organizations.

11. Free Sundays at the Columbus Museum of Art
Visit the Columbus Museum of Art for free on Sunday from 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM!
12. German Village Makers Market
This outdoor artisan market features over 60 vendors and multiple food trucks! It takes place on Sunday from 11:00 AM – 4:00 PM.
13. Storytime with Samuel and Freda Narh at Cover to Cover Books for Young Readers
This storytime is part of the Ohioana Book Festival and features a reading and activities with authors Samuel and Freda Narh. Storytime begins on Sunday at 11:00 AM.
14. Fun, Free At-Home Earth Day Activities for Kids with Seeds of Caring
Kids 2-12 can be kind to the Earth with three hands-on activities to learn about recycling, renewable energy, and more! This FREE guided project from Seeds of Caring engages the hearts, hands and minds of Central Ohio youth in environmental stewardship. Families can explore these fun, Earth-friendly activities through April 30!
