These 5 parks and playgrounds in Grove City, Ohio will keep your kids entertained and tired out for nap time!
Grove City, just southwest of Columbus, offers a cute downtown area, a really amazing library, a Metro Park and some really cool accessible playgrounds for kids of all ability levels!
These 5 parks in Grove City are super fun and very unique! If you’re looking to round out your trip to one of these playgrounds try out Transcend Coffee in Grove City Town Center or a good old fashioned donut stop at Jolly Pirate Donuts!
5 Super Fun Parks and Playgrounds in Grove City, Ohio:
1. Windsor Park Dream Field Playground
- 3400 Ventura Blvd, Grove City, OH 43123
The Dream Field Playground at Windsor Park is an amazing park for kids of all abilities. Windsor Park is quite a large complex with several baseball fields and shelters. The playground area has a soft turf and is wheelchair accessible.
The playground area is nice and spread out and there are quite a few umbrellas for shade. There is also a large pavilion area for eating!
2. Fryer Park (UNDER CONSTRUCTION IN 2022!!)
- 3899 Orders Rd, Grove City, OH 43123
Fryer Park will be closed for remodeling in 2022!
Fryer Park is a unique playground because of it’s space theme! The sun, moon and planets are represented in this park that also has a sand pit, swings and This park is next to the Grove City YMCA and Century Village. Rotary Lake is close by too, with catch and release fishing! There is also a nice walking path and sledding hill!
A splash pad was recently added to the park and it also has a space theme!
This playground in Grove City is ideal for toddlers. It’s a rather flat playground, which is great for kids who aren’t quite ready for climbing and tall slides. There is a small climbing area better for older kids, but overall, I would recommend this playground for younger kids.

3. Gantz Park
- 2255 Home Rd, Grove City, OH 43123
Gantz Park in Grove City was remodeled in 2019 and offers a lot of fun, nature-themed features. There is a play structure for older kids and a separate play structure for toddlers. There is also a large pavilion area for eating or shade!
The Gardens at Gantz are adjacent and beautiful to walk through! Along the park is a creek that is popular for creeking and a super tall slide that is built into a hill! The slide is super fast, be forewarned!

4. Scioto Grove Metro Park
- 5172 Jackson Pike, Grove City, OH 43123
One of the newer Columbus and Franklin County Metro Parks, Scioto Grove Metro Park has a lot of scenic paths for hiking and walking and it has a small but mighty playground!
This playground area within Scioto Metro Park is best for older kids! It’s largely made of netting and requires a good bit of climbing to get to the tallest slide! There is also a set of slides at the playground area!
5. Henceroth Park (Under construction in 2022/2023!)
- 2075 Mallow Ln, Grove City, OH 43123
*This park is currently being remodeled!
Henceroth Park has been a favorite of my kids since they were little! If you have kids who are vehicle lovers, this neighborhood park in Grove City will offer tons of fun!
Vehicles featured are a train, boat and jeep! There are also swings and a larger climbing structure that would work well for older kids!
