It’s Easter Weekend! This list includes lots of Easter Egg hunts in Columbus plus other springtime activities! Have a great weekend!

1. Eggs, Paws and Claws at Columbus Zoo and Aquarium

This event takes place on Friday and Saturday from 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM and features photos with the Easter Bunny, a hidden egg hunt, ambassador and character meet and greets, a rolling parade, keeper talks and more! This event is included in admission.

2. Make Care Kits for Moms With Seeds of Caring

Help your kids spread kindness in our community by making Mother’s Day Care Kits for moms staying at the Van Buren Family Shelter! The free Seeds of Caring service packet includes an easy-to-use guide to help you lead a kid-friendly conversation about kindness. Then helping hands will assemble kits with self-care items like chocolates, a small journal, and lip balm – plus a handmade note. This activity is open through May 7th.

3. Spring Break Scavenger Hunt at Sharon Woods Metro Park

Pick up a scavenger hunt form any time between 10:00 AM and 2:00 PM on Friday and explore the park for signs of spring. Return your completed sheet for a prize.

4. Skate with the Easter Bunny at United Skates of America

Skate with the Easter Bunny on Friday from 12:00 PM – 2:30 PM.

5. April Showers May Flowers at Blacklick Woods Metro Park

On Friday at 6:00 PM meet at the Nature Center at Blacklick Woods Metro Park to paint a pot and plant a seed to take home.

6. Paw Patrol Live at Ohio Theatre

There are 5 opportunities to see Adventure Bay’s Top Heroes in this live show including one on Friday night, three on Saturday and one on Sunday. Check the link for ticket availability.

7. Community Easter Egg Hunt at Bexley United Methodist Church

Kids ages preK through 5th grade can enjoy an Easter Egg Hunt, a visit with the Easter Bunny and an Easter message. This event starts at 9:00 AM on Saturday. Preregistration is encouraged.

8. Annual Easter Egg Hunt at Schiller Park

This Easter Egg Hunt takes place at Schiller Park on Saturday at 9:30 AM for kids 10 and under. Kids can tour fire trucks, search for eggs and visit with the Easter Bunny.

9. April Hilltop Hop

This event on Saturday from 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM will include handmade vendors at The Design Refinery, an ice cream truck and special deals at local businesses at Broad & Westmoor.

10. Easter Egg Hunt at the National Museum of the U.S. Air Force

This free event at the National Museum of the U.S. Airforce will take pace on Saturday from 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM and includes giant inflatable eggs and candy hid throughout the museum. 11. Community Easter Egg Hunt at Heritage Free Will Baptist Church

Preregister for this event that includes 10,000 Easter Eggs to find on Saturday at 10:00 AM.

12. Westerville Spring Eggstravaganza

This event on Saturday from 10:00 AM-1:00 PM at Hoff Woods Park includes inflatable, a bunny photo area and an egg hunt for ages 10 and under. Bring your own basket. There will also be breakfast-themed food trucks. See the link for egg hunt times divided by age.

13. Easter Egg Hunt at New Beginnings Christian School

This event on Saturday from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM includes an egg hunt, game, face painting, bounce houses, snacks, cookie decorating, the Easter Bunny and more! See the link for the schedule of egg hunts by age.

14. Spring Into History at Ohio History Center

Celebrate Spring at Ohio History Center and Ohio Village on Saturday from 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM with a scavenger hunt, egg roll, cooking demonstrations, Victorian egg dying, an Easter Card Craft, games at Ohio Village and a Tea Time Celebration.

15. 2023 9th Annual Eggstravaganza at Johnson Park

This free event takes place on Saturday at 11:00 AM and includes a 15,000 Egg hunt beginning at 12:00 PM. There will also be food, face painting, bounce house and games.

16. Easter Eggstravaganza Escape Trail at Blacklick Woods Metro Park

On Saturday from 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM stop at different stations along the Easter Escape Trail to solve problems and unlock clues to finish the trail.

17. Easter Egg Hunt at Cedar Run Park

This Easter Egg Hunt takes place at Cedar Run Park in Blacklick at 11:00 AM on Saturday.

18. Easter Egg Hunt at Compassion Christian Church

This community wide Easter Egg Hunt is for kids age 2-11. Bring your own basket and make sure to arrive on time! The Easter Bunny will be there, too. This event takes place on Saturday at 11:00 AM.

19. Donuts with the Easter Bunny at United Skates of America

This event on Saturday from 12:00 PM – 3:00 PM includes skating and donuts with the Easter Bunny.

20. El Mercadito Easter Edition at German Village

This market will include pictures with the Easter Bunny for $5 and a bounce house for $5. There will be a market with vendors, food, music and more featuring Latine artists and small businesses. Hours are Saturday from 12:00 PM – 6:00 PM.

21. Fairy, Elf & Bug Houses at Sharon Woods Metro Park

Go off trail to find natural items to build a fairy, elf or bug house at Sharon Woods Metro Park. Meet on Saturday at 1:00 PM at the Natural Play Area.

22. Eagle Hike @ Hundred Acre Wood at Blendon Woods Metro Park

Go on a 1.5 mile hike on a dirt path through the Hundred Acre Wood at Blendon Woods Metro Park to spy the eagles in their nest. This event takes place on Saturday at 2:00 PM. Be prepared for mud! Park along the road at 5220 Cambria Way.

23. Easter Egg Hunt at East Side Grace Brethren Church

This free Easter Egg Hunt takes place at 10:30 AM on Sunday on the east side of the church property.

24. Wildlife Second Sunday SPRING FLING at Ohio Wildlife Center

This open house at Ohio Wildlife Center will take place on Sunday from 12:00 PM-3:00 PM and includes activities in the barn, an egg hunt and a raccoon feeding and fox enrichment. Register for the egg hunt online.

25. Easter Bunny Meet n Greet at Franklin Park

Take a selfie with the Easter Bunny in Franklin Park. Prices is $6 for 2 digital copies. This opportunity will take place on Sunday from 1:00 PM-3:00 PM. Tickets are available online.

26. Grand Opening at Dulce Mundo Party World

This Grand Opening celebration takes place on Easter Sunday from 3:00 PM-5:00 PM and includes a bounce house, face painting, balloon twisting, piñatas, live music, games for kids, raffle prize and more. The is a free event.

27. Easter Sunday Skate Party at Skate Zone 71

Easter Sunday Roller Skate is from 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM and includes an Easter Egg Scavenger hunt, games and 5 free game credits.

28. EASTER SUNDAY SKATE at United Skates of America

Easter Sunday Skate is from 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM and includes games and prizes.
