1. Half Priced Admission at Columbus Zoo and Aquarium

From January 4-February 28, 2021, admission is half priced to Columbus Zoo! The Zoo will be open from 10:00 AM-4:00 PM daily. At this time, timed tickets are not required though capacity is limited. On Monday, February, 15, 2021 admission to the Columbus Zoo will be free in honor of President’s Day. Timed tickets are not required for this free day but capacity is limited.

2. Virtual Storytimes from ProMusica

ProMusica has many Musical Storytime episodes on their YouTube channel! These are for young kids and include stories and musicians who play instruments along with the stories! When you click the link you will also find links to their virtual family concert that was recorded in March.

3. Columbus Symphony Orchestra Kids Korner

Check out the Kids Korner website where you can take a virtual tour of Ohio Theatre, print coloring pages of instruments and composers, learn how to read music, learn about composers and play games!

4. DIY Winter Hike with Columbus and Franklin County Metro Parks

Winter Hikes are happening at your own pace this year and each month different parks are featured. Pick up a Winter Hike Passport from a staff member and collect a patch for completing 7 hikes.

5. 80’s vs. 90’s Free Dinner Skate at Skate Zone 71

Friday from 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM dressed in your 80’s attire! $12 includes admission, skate rental, a slice of cheese pizza and a drink.

6. Children’s Book Brunch with Granville Public Library

On Saturday at 10:00 AM join the Children’s Department staff for book recommendations on Instagram @gpl_kids.

7. Black History Month with Ohio History Connection

In celebration of Black History Month, Ohio History Connection invites you to take part in special programming. All programming is virtual and free for Ohio History Connection members unless noted. Advanced registration is required. This Saturday at 10:00 AM they are offering the Underground Railroad Immersive Experience.

Participants will observe and talk to residents from Ohio Village to understand the Underground Railroad and identify the secret “conductor.” Through the use of highly researched first-person interpreters, participants are able to experience the moral and social struggles surrounding the anti-slavery movement. This program is recommended for children 11+ and their families.

8. Valentine’s Day Carriage Rides, Pony Rides and Sledding

On Saturday from 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM you can enjoy horseback sledding, pony rides, carriage rides, petting zoo animals and more. No reservations needed.

9. Valentine’s Day Opening at Sticky Fingers Ice Cream Parlor

For the first time ever, Sticky Fingers will be open on Valentine’s Day for your favorite ice cream and special treats! Hours will be Saturday and Sunday from 1:00 PM-8:00 PM

10. DIY Hot Chocolate Heart Bomb at Dublin Toy Emporium

Create 1 Jumbo Heart Bomb and 1 Heart Cup to fill with sweets. Ages 4 and up. Sessions are for 1 family at a time. Call or text to reserve your time on Saturday between 2:00 PM and 6:00 PM.

11. Winter Carriage Rides at Easton Town Center – CANCELLED due to weather

Winter Carriage Rides will be offered on Saturdays and Sundays until February 14, 2021. Rides are $10/person (cash only). Children under age 15 ride for free with a paying adult. Hours are Saturday: 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM and Sunday: 3:00 PM-7:00 PM.

12. Sweetheart Princess Valentine Zooms with BeautyBelle

Reserve your customized message from Belle via Zoom and Paulette’s Princess Parties. Call to schedule your time. Belle will sing, dance and deliver your customized message to your little prince or princess on Sunday.
