FRIDAY:

9:45 AM – We Joy Sing Drop in Music Class at Coffee Connections of Hilliard – drop in for a music class featuring music-based play! Ages 1-23 months.

10:00 AM – Tots on the Trails at Blacklick Woods Metro Park – take a slow-paced half mile walk through the woods. Ages 4 and under.

10:00 AM – First Responder Appreciation Month at LEGOLAND Discovery Center Columbus – throughout the month of February, First Responders will receive free admission and their immediate family members will receive $10 single day admission tickets. First Responders must present proof of employment. See the link for the list of qualifying professions. 

10:00 AM – Toddler Open Gym at Thompson Recreation Center – drop in for a free Open Gym time at the rec center!

10:00 AM – Kids Dream Family Film Series at Marcus Theaters – see a family-friendly movie for just $3/ticket. This weekend’s movie is Abominable. Click the link for a special deal where you can get your tickets for free! Showings are Friday, Saturday and Sunday at 10:00 AM at Marcus Pickerington and Marcus Crosswoods.

11:00 AM – 2020 Dispatch Home & Garden Show at the Ohio Expo Center – the Home and Garden Show takes place through March 1, 2020 an includes how-to sessions, cooking demos, celebrity appearances, kids activists, indoor gardens and more!

12:00 PM – Snapshots of the Family Farm at Gallant Farm – visit Gallant Farm to see a collection of photos from the 1930’s and 40’s. Bring your own pictures of your family farm to add to the collection!

1:00 PM – Preschoolers: Woodpeckers in Winter at Battelle Darby Nature Center – kids ages 3-5 can learn all about woodpeckers!

4:00 PM – Family Night Fridays at Tree of Life Play + Cafe – for $30 enjoy a family pass to the play area and a large 1 topping pizza and a drink pitcher.

7:00 PM – Friday Nights Unlimited Pizza Skate at Skate Zone 71 – family skate is available from 7:00 PM – 10:00 PM for $10/person. That includes admission, skate rental and unlimited cheese pizza!

SATURDAY:

7:00 AM – Leap of Love Event to Benefit Ronald McDonald House at Just Love Coffee Cafe – celebrate the grand opening of the new cafe Just Love Coffee Café! A portion of the proceeds during this day will go to Ronald Mcdonald House Charities of Central Ohio. There will be prizes, games a raffle and more!

8:00 AM – Cheryl’s 2020 Bake Sale! at Westpointe Plaza Shopping Center – shop this annual sale for up to 75% off retail prices! The first 50 customers in line will receive a free gift! 

9:00 AM – Roller Skating Lessons at Skate Zone 71 – walk-in for skating lessons for all skill levels! Fisher Price skates are available for kids. Adults are welcome too!

10:00 AM – Maple Sugar Time at Blendon Woods Metro Park – see a demonstration of maple syrup making in the Sugarbush Day Camp area.

12:00 PM – STEMfest! at  The Works: Ohio Center for History, Art & Technology – this is a free event at The Works in Newark featuring hands on STEM opportunities! This event is geared toward middle and high school students.

1:00 PM – Bon AppéCreek at Battelle Darby Creek Metro Park – feed worms, crickets and more to the fish  in the living stream!

3:00 PM – Lego Club Westland at Westland Area Library – kids in grades K-6 can work individually or in teams to complete a LEGO challenge!

3:00 PM – Leap into Leap Day at Grove City Library – enjoy a story and fun activities including creating your own stuffed frog. You must register in advance for this event!

3:00 PM – Dough Day In The Kafé at Dublin Toy Emporium – play with edible play dough and take home your creations. Reserve your spot in advance. See link for pricing options.

6:00 PM – Princess & Pirate Night at East Side Grace Brethren Church – this event includes activities for the whole family like dancing, face painting, games, food, prizes and more! 

7:00 PM – Night at the Museum at the Ohio History Center – advanced tickets are required for this event where the exhibits will come to life after dark! Meet figures from history and have them sign an autograph book! 

SUNDAY:

8:00 AM – St. Mary Magdalene Media Sale at St. Mary Magdalene – shop for children’s and adult books, CD’s, DVD’s, records, board games, puzzles and more! 

9:00 AM – Kids Yoga & Storytime – GoYoga + Cover to Cover at Cover to Cover Books for Young Readers – join GoYoga for games, storytelling and physical activities. $10/child, ages 5-8.

2:00 PM – Go WILD Kids Club: Frogs, Toads & Salamanders, Oh My! at Sharon Woods Metro Park – kids ages 5-12 can learn about amphibians and meet some animal ambassadors. Held in the Spring Hollow Lodge.

2:00 PM – Free Family Fun Day! at SOS of Ohio Spay & Neuter Clinic – Shelter Outreach Services – celebrate their new location with animals, games, prizes, auctions and more!
