1. KidX Summer Series at Polaris Fashion Place

This kid-friendly event takes place outside at the Lifestyle Center Fountain from 10:30 AM – 12:00 PM on Fridays. This year the event will be a completely DRIVE-THRU event that includes music, crafts, characters and free ice cream! This week’s theme is Dr. Doolittle and Friends.

2. Gahanna Summer Drive-In Series

Head to Headley Park on Friday nights for drive-in concerts and movies! This Friday night there will be a band called The Goldsberrys. Register in advance if you want to attend!

3. Annual Harry Potter Birthday Celebration at The Fat Girl Bakery

This Friday at 6:30, celebrate Harry Potter’s birthday with a sample of Harry’s birthday cake, photo ops, and HP themed baked goods for purchase! Come in costume!

4. Night Under the Stars

Register in advance for this Friday night camp out in Wyman Woods Park. At sunset they will show the movie Abominable on the outdoor screen.

5. Open Crafting at Creative Art Bar Hilliard

RSVP in advance for this open crafting time for all ages on Saturday from 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM! There will be a full menu of DIY projects to choose from!

6. OH SNAP! Alligator vs. Croc! (Kraft-n-Play In Store) at Kreation’s Play Kafe

On Sunday from 12:00 PM – 3:00 PM, create a felt crocodile, play a game with fun questions about Alligators and Crocodiles to win prizes! Reserve your spot ahead of time!

7. Art Around the World from Lancaster Festival

The Lancaster Festival might have been cancelled this year, but your kids can watch this video containing a virtual art lesson. There will be a total of 5 art projects (keep an eye on their FB page) and the first one (in this video) is an African mask project and it is appropriate for a wide range of ages.

8. Kindergarten Success Camp

Sign up your incoming Kindergarteners for Virtual Kindergarten Success Camp with Columbus Library! There are 9 sessions that include short videos and printable activity sheets. There will also be two live teacher-led events on Crowdcast.

9. Visit the Paul Busse Garden Railway at Franklin Park Conservatory 

Visit this outdoor railroad on display in the Grand Mallway through January 2021! The display is made from items found in nature, miniature garden, waterfalls and magical scenes! You must purchase your ticket in advance to visit the Conservatory!

10. Just Imagine That! with Joanie Calem

Enjoy a Facebook Live Summer Reading Club program from the Upper Arlington Library featuring a sing-a-long with Joanie Calem.
