8:30 AM – Grove City Minion Hunt in Grove City Town Center – pick up a Town Center Minion Hunt entry card or download it online and hunt for 7 Minions around Grove City Town Center. Drop off your completed card to receive a prize! The hunt ends at 4:30 PM on November 2.

9:00 AM – The Haunted Maze

 at Hoover Gardens & Gift Center – this scary maze is free during regular business hours at Hoover Gardens through October 31st. Parents use your best judgement and consider escorting younger children through the maze!

10:00 AM – Fall 2018 Big Book Sale at Columbus Metropolitan Library – thousands of books, DVDs and CDs will be on sale starting at $1!

10:30 AM – Leaf People Craft at Avery Park – join FIT4MOM Dublin for a workout and fall scavenger hunt! There will be a free craft time afterwards.

11:00 AM – Pick Your Own Pumpkins at Young’s Jersey Dairy – Young’s Dairy is offering pick your own pumpkins this weekend! Take a wagon ride to the pumpkin patch to find the perfect pumpkin!

11:00 AM – Fall Food Truck Friday at Easton Town Center – there will be over 20 food trucks at this event including live music!

7:00 PM – Franklinton Fridays – support local artists at this event in Franklinton!

7:30 PM – Haunted Wagon Rides

 at Young’s Jersey Dairy – take a scary wagon ride around Young’s Jersey Dairy! This is for families, but it will be scary!


Fall Festivals Happening On the Weekends in Columbus and Central Ohio

Pumpkin Picking and Hayrides at Kuhlweins Farm Market & Deli – Fall Fun at Kuhlweins Market and Deli includes a hayride, animal zoo, corn maze and pumpkin picking! Inflatables, pony rides, balloon twisting and face painting on the weekends!

Great Pumpkin Fun Center at Pigeon Roost – Pigeon Roost features a pumpkin patch, farm animals and The Great Pumpkin Fun Center with giant slides, mazes, a fort, play areas, and tons more! Weekends include wagon rides, face painting, crafters and concessions!

Fall Fun Days at Circle S Farms – This farm is one of the few open during the week! Fall Fun Days feature hayrides, pumpkin picking, farm market, petting zoo, corn and sunflower mazes, bale cave and more!

Corn Maze at Lynd Fruit Farm – At Lynd Fruit Farm you can pick your own apples and pumpkins and enjoy the farm market on its own or also head over to the giant corn maze where there is also a barrel train, fun zone, bounce house, wagons rides and more!

The MAiZE at Little Darby Creek – The MAiZE at Little Darby Creek features a huge corn maze plus a cow train, barnyard bouncer, petting zoo, kiddie maze, ball zone, slides, laser tag, pedal carts, kids fun barn, tether ball and more! Hayrides are also available!

Fall Farm Fun at Leeds Farm – Leeds Farm is open six weekends only through October 28 with hayrides, farm animals, farm pond, pumpkins and gourds! Back 40 Barn Pass admission includes Pumpkin Jumps, John Deere combine slide, mountain slides, and mini zip lines, rolling tubes, straw forts, pig races, pedal carts, the biggest corn box in Ohio, and more! Fall Fun Festival at Dill’s Greenhouse – Fall festivals are happening on the weekends, September 29 – October 31, 2017. Hayrides, corn maze, fire pit and hotdogs and s’mores for roasting (bring your own or purchase there), straw maze, sand box, pumpkins, games and activities!

Fall Festival at Hidden Creek Farms – Festival weekends offer hayrides, pumpkin picking, pumpkin painting, fall decorations, food, pony rides, slide, kids play barn, corn pit, farm animals, straw maze, and more!

Freeman’s Farm Fall Festival

 at Freeman’s Farm – The Fall Festival weekends at Freeman’s Farm include hayrides, kettle corn, campfire foods, scarecrow making, a petting zoo and apple butter making! Fall Fun at Lehner’s at Lehner’s Pumpkin Farm – fall fun at Lehner’s Pumpkin Farm begins this weekend and includes over 30 rides and attractions including a corn maze, giant LEGOS, a play barn, mini golf, pumpkins and more!

Fall Festival at the Farm at Wanut Creek – the farm is open Monday through Saturday. Weekend activities include apple butter cooking, candle carving, basket weaving, spinning and weaving and more in addition to these activities going on all week: corn box, pumpkin slingshot, straw castle, kids maze, scavenger hunt and more!Read about our visit to The Farm at Walnut Creek!

Fall Family Fun at Miller’s Country Gardens – Saturdays and Sundays there will be hayrides, barrel rides for kids, a play area, straw tunnel, corn maze and animal barn! Take a hayride to pick your own pumpkin!


SATURDAY

9:00 AM – Fall Spooktacular Craft Fair at Westerville North High School – this fall craft fair also includes a costume contest for all ages!

9:00 AM – Family Breakfast with Coco – this event includes a breakfast and the showing of the movie Coco! Tickets can be purchased online.

9:00 AM – HOMAGE Gamedays

 at HOMAGE Easton Town Center and HOMAGE Short North – enjoy free donuts from Buckeye Donuts, coffee and special deals on Saturday mornings for each Buckeye game this season!

9:00 AM – Yellow Springs Street Fair in Yellow Springs – this annual event in Yellow Springs includes vendors, live music, arts and crafts, a beer garden, street performers and more!

9:30 AM – $5 Saturday at piccadilly – Open play from 9:30 AM – 12:30 PM is just $5/kid on Saturdays!

10:00 AM – Try-It Together: Engineering at COSI Columbus’ Dynamic Hands-On Science Center! – this activity is for kids ages 3-5 and an accompanying adult and offers the chance to learn about engineering with age appropriate hands on activities! Cost is $10 per person in addition to admission to COSI.

10:00 AM – Open House – Fire Prevention Week at Monroe Township Fire Department – this event features games, activities and educational presentations on fire prevention. There will be antique and modern fire trucks on display and food is available for purchase!

10:00 AM – Fall Fest at Snyder Park – just 45 minutes from Columbus, this event includes arts and crafts, food, vendors, a Kid’s Zone with games and prizes and free hay rides! Admission is free.

10:00 AM – Groveport Apple Butter Day at Heritage Park Groveport Ohio – Groveport Apple Butter Day includes pioneer activities, crafts, entertainment and kettles of homemade apple butter!

10:00 AM – Fall Family Festival at Ohio Bird Sanctuary – take a trip to Mansfield to see animals and enjoy games, crafts, an adventure trail, food and s’mores! Admission is $10/car.

10:30 AM – October Grown-Up & Me Art: Goofy Pumpkin! at Art with Anna – kids ages 3 and up with an adult can make art together! This month’s theme is Goofy Pumpkin. $15/couple, $5/additional artist.

11:00 AM – Pick Your Own Pumpkins at Young’s Jersey Dairy – Young’s Dairy is offering pick your own pumpkins this weekend! Take a wagon ride to the pumpkin patch to find the perfect pumpkin!

11:00 AM – Boo ‘n Brew at Polaris Fashion Place – every Saturday in October there will be a Halloween celebration including trick or treating, craft zone, food trucks, princess, costume parade, live music and more!

11:00 AM – Star Wars Spectacular at Barnes & Noble Easton – this family-friendly Star Wars-themed event includes a story time, craft, trivia, cosplaying and more!

12:00 PM – Festival For Good in Franklinton – this family-friendly festival includes more than 25 local social enterprises, food trucks, and live music! Learn about the best ways to do good by supporting local companies here in Columbus!

12:00 PM – Lane for the Game at Ten Pin Alley – game day specials include bowling during the entire game plus a $30 gift card, discounted laser tag, drink specials and a special tailgate menu!

1:00 PM – Monthly Card Making Class at Third Way Cafe – make a Halloween card! $5 for the first card, $3 for each additional card you make.

1:00 PM – Historic Dublin Family Fall Festival in Historic Dublin – this free festival includes trick or treating, crafts, activities, games, a magician, music, vendors and special activities at each participating business.

2:00 PM – Second Saturdays at CML – Hilliard Branch – this month’s theme is Awesome Autumn and there will be stories, crafts and activities with a fall theme!

3:00 PM – Fall Festival at Obetz Church of the Nazarene – this free festival includes free food, games, bounce houses, trunk or treat and more!

3:00 PM – LEGO Club at Westland Area Library – work in a group or individually to make LEGO creations!

5:30 PM – Trunk or treat, hayrides, s’mores and more! at The First Church of God Community Worship Center – enjoy a hayride, trunk or treat, food and s’mores!

7:30 PM – Haunted Wagon Rides

 at Young’s Jersey Dairy – take a scary wagon ride around Young’s Jersey Dairy! This is for families, but it will be scary!

SUNDAY

10:00 AM – Pups and Pumpkins at Hoover Gardens & Gift Center – kids can paint their own pumpkins and visit with puppies from Cause for Canines. Adoptable pups will be on site from 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM. No RSVP required.

12:00 PM – 2nd Sundays at Ohio Wildlife Center – 2nd Sundays include access to the grounds of Ohio Wildlife Center, an animal enrichment activity and educational opportunities. $5/person. 5 and under are free.

12:00 PM – Multicultural B • R • E • A • D! Festival of Arts and Community at Coffman Park – this annual festival includes community booths, music and dance, hands on art projects, international cuisine, food trucks, a global marketplace, bread vendors and more! There will be a sand painting project taking place during the festival.

12:00 PM – Kids Paint Free Day at Clay Cafe Clintonville – no painting fee for kids on Sundays through November 11th!

1:00 PM – Little Sprouts: Fall Festival at Wilson’s Garden Center – kids 12 and under can register to attend this fall festival in Newark! There will be games, scarecrow making, trick or treat and a goody bag. $5/kid.

1:00 PM – Fall Fest at Fancyburg Park – UA’s Fall Fest includes pumpkin carving, arts and crafts, cider making, a petting zoo, balloon twisting, a donut eating contest, hay ride and more! Admission is free but some activities have a small cost.

1:00 PM – Stone Soup at Gallant Farm Park – hear the story of Stone Soup and try out some Stone Soup for yourself!

1:00 PM – Fall 2018 Big Book Sale at Columbus Metropolitan Library – thousands of books, DVDs and CDs will be on sale starting at $1!

2:00 PM – Family Fun with the Columbus Zoo at Franklin Park Conservatory – The Columbus Zoo and Aquarium brings various animals each month to Franklin Park Conservatory!

2:00 PM – 6th Annual MUMS & Mummies at Westgate Park – this free event includes a raffle, costume contest for kids AND pets, games and activities, food, fireside stories and Trunk or Treat!

3:30 PM – October Family Paint: Lil Pumpkin at Art with Anna – the whole family can paint a Lil Pumpkin painting to hang together or separately! Recommended for kids ages 6 and up. $15/artist.

5:00 PM – Giant Pumpkin Carving 2018 at The MAiZE at Little Darby Creek – head out to The MAiZE at Little Darby Creek to see a giant pumpkin being carved!

6:00 PM – Broadway Princess Party at Columbus Funny Bone – dress up in your best royal attire for a musical princess party with original princess stars!

6:00 PM – LBC Fall Festival! at Linworth Baptist Church – this fall festival includes food, games, trunk or treat, a magic show, crafts, photo booth and more!
