1. Pumpkin Picking and Fall Festivals
Fall festivals around Central Ohio are beginning and many of them include pumpkin picking, hayrides, corn mazes, outdoor activities, food and all kinds of fall-themed fun! Click the link for a complete list of fall festivals and pumpkin farms to choose your fun this weekend!
2. Harvest Blooms at Franklin Park Conservatory
Through November 1, 2020, Franklin Park Conservatory will be decked out with fall foliage, pumpkins, mums, gourds and more in the outdoor gardens! The Pumpkin House will be on display! This is included in regular admission or membership. While you’re there make sure to see the outdoor Garden Railway!
3. Go Apple Picking
Going apple picking is a classic fall activity in Central Ohio! Even if you live in the city of Columbus, a u-pick apple farm is less than an hour away and most of them have picking times available on the weekends!
4. The Pumpkin Walk 2020 – Heroes & Villains in Bellefontaine
Complete a scavenger hunt around downtown Bellefontaine! There will be festive displays, food trucks and DORA! Come in costume for this free event!
5. Sleepy Hollow Drive-In at Ohio History Center
Each Friday night in October you can watch a “spooktacular” movie at this drive-in experience at Ohio History Center! There will also be drive-thru scenes from The Legend of Sleepy Hollow. This weekend’s movie is Ghostbusters and there are two times: 5:00 PM and 8:30 PM. You must get your tickets in advance.

6. Rhea Lana’s of North Columbus 2020 Fall/Winter Sale
Shop for gently used kids clothing, toys and accessories. Shopping is free beginning October 2 at 2:00 PM or you can purchase a ticket to get in early!
7. Johnstown Area Kids Clothing & Toy Pop Up at Hartford Fairgrounds
Shop this pop up sale of kids clothing, toys and accessories! You can make an appointment for entry or shop standby.
8. Saturday Studio Art Canvas // Fox in the Meadow at Art with Anna
Saturday Studio has a different theme each week. Drop in for $20/student or sign up for a package deal.
9. 40th Annual Fall Festival at Oakland Nurseries
The Annual Fall Festival takes place at all Garden Centers and include entertainment, food, concessions and activities! Activities vary by location so check the link for all the details. The Fall Festival Days go on from October 1-18, 2020.

10. Hilliard Kid’sFest Drive Thru Event at Franklin County Fairgrounds
This drive-through event includes free treats, a balloon artist, entertainment, a flying pancake breakfast, pony rides and more! Some activities have a cost.
11. Kindermusik FREE Demo Class
Check out a free demo class featuring, instruments, story time, singing, dancing and more! Ages 6 mo – 4 years plus caregivers!
12. Patches of Light’s Drive-thru Pumpkin Patch
Take part in a Drive Thru Pumpkin Patch benefiting Patches of Light in Hilliard. Pumpkins are $2 or $3.
13. Firefighter Memorial Sunday Open House
Visit the museum to see their new display about the history of Firefighter Memorial Sunday.
