Local farms are gearing up for Fall Festivals and activities! Start your planning by checking out these posts:

1. Cones for the Cure at Graeter’s Ice Cream

Cones for the Cure will run from September 9-19, 2021.  During this event, Graeter’s will offer a special flavor, Elena’s Blueberry Pie Ice Cream. Download the Graeter’s app prior to the start of the event and receive a free scoop of Elena’s Blueberry Ice Cream.  You can also download a coupon for a free scoop at www.conesforthecure.org. When visiting your local Graeter’s Ice Cream shop you can donate $5 (or more) and receive a coupon booklet with six different coupons for Graeter’s. You will receive a booklet for every $5 you donate in the store.  100% of the proceeds go directly to pediatric brain cancer research.

2. Peach Picking at Branstool Orchards

U-Pick Peaches are available Friday through Sunday at Branstool Orchards as well as flowers for cutting, pixie crunch apples and a food truck on Saturday and Sunday!

3. Pearl Market Downtown Columbus

Shop vendors, artisans and local growers on Friday from 10:30 AM – 2:00 PM at Pearl and Gay Streets.

4. 2021 Dispatch Fall Home & Garden Show

The annual Home & Garden Show takes place September 10-12, 2021 at Ohio Expo Center. There will be a butterfly exhibit, farmers market, classic cars, a 9/11 Remembrance Exhibit plus home and garden themed vendors and exhibits. Admission is $5 at the door and children are free. Sunday is family day with visits from COSI, The Columbus Zoo, The Turtle Lady and more. Pick up free admission coupons at Lowe’s!

5. Columbus Oktoberfest

Columbus Oktoberfest takes place at Ohio Expo Center on September 10-12, 2021 and features live entertainment, a area with free kids activists like crafts, inflatables and live entertainment. The festival includes live entertainment, food, beer and games for all ages!

6. Hot Times Festival 2021

This annual festival includes art cars, kid’s activities, vendors, food and lots of live music! There will also be a live stream on YouTube. This festival takes place September 10-12, 2021.

7. 934 Fest at 934 Gallery

934 Fest takes place on Friday night and Saturday afternoon. This is a free festival that includes live performances, murals, craft beer, food trucks and more! There is a sensory-friendly hour on Saturday from 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM.

8. Polaris Night Market

Head to Polaris Fashion Place for to shop from more than 70 vendors, artists, non-profits and more from 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM on Friday night. This is a free event.

9. Parent’s Night Out at The Five

Drop the kids off for dinner, snacks, crafts, games and more on Friday night at 6:30 PM. Ages 4-11. Register in advance.

10. Free Drive In Movie at CrossRoads Baptist Church

Watch a free movie, Overcomer, at 8:30 PM on Friday. Rated PG.

11. Movie Night at Blendon Woods Metro Park

Watch the movie Frozen II at dark at Blendon Woods Metro Park on Friday night. Park in the ranger station lot.

12. Harvest Saturday at Lawrence Orchards

Pick your own apples and enjoy a food truck from 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM on Saturday.

13. ARTSWAY Mural Reception at 3060 Gallery

Local teens will have their mural work on display at 3060 Gallery at this opening reception. There will be a food truck, specials for first responders at Third Way Cafe and fire trucks on display (as available)!

14. PBJ & Jazz featuring Bobby Floyd at Topiary Park

This hour long, kid-friendly jazz concert in Topiary Park is designed to introduce kids to jazz music! This is a free concert at 12:00 PM on Saturday and kids will get a take-home art activity at the end of the concert!

15. Powell Street Market

Shop local craftsman, artisans and vendors in downtown Powell on Sunday from 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM!

16. Green Lawn Abbey Classic & Exotic Car Show

This Sunday from 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM visit Green Lawn Abbey for a classic and exotic car show! $5/person.

17. Sunday Funday: Dog Days of Summer in Old Worthington

Hang out in Old Worthington for a dog-friendly event featuring rescue organizations, crafts, food trucks, live music and more! This free event takes place Sunday from 12:00 PM – 6:00 PM.
