5 Super Fun Parks and Playgrounds in Grove City, Ohio:
1. Windsor Park Dream Field Playground
- 3400 Ventura Blvd, Grove City, OH 43123
The Dream Field Playground at Windsor Park is an amazing park for kids of all abilities. Windsor Park is quite a large complex with several baseball fields and shelters. The playground area has a soft turf and is wheelchair accessible.
The playground area is nice and spread out and there are quite a few umbrellas for shade. There is also a large pavilion area for eating!
2. Fryer Park
- 3899 Orders Rd, Grove City, OH 43123
Fryer Park in Grove City was remodeled and reopened in 2023! The playground is a huge change from what it was before, though some of the older elements still remain!
The centerpiece of this playground is a huge tower that kids can climb inside with a slide to exit! There are climbing walls, and lots of ropes for climbing, too.
This playground in Grove City actually has several slides including this super wide slide that my kids loved!
There are still some of the older elements left in the park like the musical instruments, swings and glass decorative pieces. There are also some shade coverings that are a nice touch and great for parents!
My kids were drawn to the merry-go-round feature pictured below! It has lots of rope to hold on to as you spin!
There is also a smaller, toddler-friendly part of the playground! It has some interactive elements, small slides and a steering wheel!
A splash pad was added to the park a few years ago and it has a space theme!

Gantz Park in Grove City was remodeled in 2019 and offers a lot of fun, nature-themed features. There is a play structure for older kids and a separate play structure for toddlers. There is also a large pavilion area for eating or shade!
The Gardens at Gantz are adjacent and beautiful to walk through! Along the park is a creek that is popular for creeking and a super tall slide that is built into a hill! The slide is super fast, be forewarned!

4. Scioto Grove Metro Park
- 5172 Jackson Pike, Grove City, OH 43123
One of the newer Columbus and Franklin County Metro Parks, Scioto Grove Metro Park has a lot of scenic paths for hiking and walking and it has a small but mighty playground!
This playground area within Scioto Metro Park is best for older kids! It’s largely made of netting and requires a good bit of climbing to get to the tallest slide! There is also a set of slides at the playground area!
In 2023, a smaller, natural-type playground was added at Scioto Grove Metro Park that makes the playground area a bit more friendly for toddlers! This area has a slide, a tunnel, a small climbing wall that’s perfect for toddlers and a bridge!
This area is adjacent to the other playground at Scioto Grove but there’s enough of a distance to help keep toddlers off of the large climbing structure!
5. Henceroth Park
- 2075 Mallow Ln, Grove City, OH 43123
Henceroth Park has been a favorite of my kids since they were little! The park was remodeled in 2023 and it is another Grove City park that has been vastly changed! I have to admit to being a little bit sad that the vehicle elements have been removed! But that’s just nostalgia on my part!
The park is now geared towards older kids with a lot of options for climbing! If you have kids that love to climb they will enjoy the rope and net climbing options within this fun playground in Grove City!
The wide slide is also a new element I’ve started to see at playgrounds all around Central Ohio! My kids are fans!
For younger kids, there is a smaller slide and there is a set of baby swings right next to the playground structure!
