1. Kids Dream Family Film Series at Marcus Theatres
On July 4-8 watch The Amazing Maurice at participating Marcus Theatre. There is also a $3.00 Popcorn & Drink Special. You can see the movie for free with a voucher from American Family Insurance. See link for details!
2. Share Love with Kids Entering Foster Care with Seeds of Caring
In this Anywhere Project from Seeds of Caring and Alicia’s Closet, kids 4-12 will pack one or more Goodnight Gear bags – including much-needed items like socks, body wash, and lotion – and write messages of caring to help ease the transition for kids entering foster care. Families and groups can participate any time through July 30.
3. Commons for Kids at Columbus Commons
Every Friday this Summer from 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM enjoy activities for kids at Columbus Commons! There will be free carousel rides, inflatables, face painting, balloon twisting and a theme each week. This week’s theme is Health and Safety!
4. EcoKids at The Works
Learn about habitats and the natural world in the outdoor habitat exhibit at The Works! This event takes place every Friday from 10:00 AM – 10:30 PM and is included with admission. Perfect for ages 3-6.
5. Book to Film Series at Gateway Film Center
This movie series featuring movies based on books is free with your library card! July 7-9 the film will be Shrek and the showings are at 2:00 PM each day.
6. Creekside Live at Creekside Park & Plaza
On Friday at 5:00 PM enjoy free live music at Creekside Plaza. Chaz & Nicki begin at 5:00 PM and Sean Carney and the Sydney Experience begins at 7:30 PM.
7. Unicorn World at Columbus Convention Center
Unicorn World takes place on Saturday and Sunday and features life-sized unicorns, unicorn activities and rides. Tickets are available online.
8. Westerville Area Chamber Music & Arts Festival
On Saturday from 10:00 AM – 10:00 PM there will be 130 fine art/craft vendors, live music, food trucks, a youth art exhibit and more! $1 entry fee.

9. July Hilltop Hop at Broad and Westmoor
The Hilltop Hop includes handmade vendors at The Design Refinery and Koko, baked goods from Slice of Heaven Bakery, Holy Crepes Food Truck and painting activities at Clay Street Ceramics. This event takes place on Saturday from 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM.
10. Second Saturdays at Main Library: Aviation & Science
Second Saturday takes place from 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM at Main Library with activities with an aviation theme. COSI will be there from 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM with science demonstrations! And there will be an Airplane Crafting Contest at 2:00 PM.
11. Kids Series at Grandview Theater & Drafthouse
Grandview Theater and Drafthouse is offering free admission for kids to movies on Saturdays and Wednesdays! This Saturday’s movie is Puss In Boots: Last Wish and it will be shown at 10:30 AM.

12. Summer Jam West in Westgate Park
This annual arts festival takes place on Saturday from 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM in Westgate Park and includes artisan vendors, chalk art, an art car corral, live music, community partners, activities for kids, food and drink and more!
13. Barbie Roller Skate Party at Skate Zone 71
Meet and Greet Barbie and Ken from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM on Saturday at Skate Zone 71. There will be photo ops, games and performances.
14. Music Together Class – Music Matters at CML Whetstone Branch
Kids can learn about music through play, experimentation and exploration. The class takes place on Saturday at 2:30 PM. Ideal for ages 6 and under.
15. Conservatory Explore Nights: Red, White & Bloom
These special engagement nights at Franklin Park Conservatory feature a lively festival experience including live entertainment, food trucks, discovery stations, signature cocktails & mocktails, crafts, and a scavenger hunt. This month’s theme is: Red, White & Bloom. The event takes place on Saturday from 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM. Tickets are available online.
16. Summer Music Series in Historic Dublin
Enjoy live music in Historic Dublin on Saturday from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM.

17. OTE Art Walk
On Sunday from 12:00 PM – 6:00 PM enjoy this neighborhood event featuring food and drink, live music, live art, performances, vendors and more!
18. Goodale Park Music Series
Enjoy live music in The Gazebo at Goodale Park from 12:30 PM – 2:00 PM on Sundays. This Sunday’s band is The Goldsberrys.
19. Sundays in the Park at Topiary Park
Sundays in Topiary Park and Kaufman Plaza include food trucks, live music and games! This event starts at 1:00 PM on Sunday.
20. Sounds of Summer Concert Series in Westerville
This free concert takes place at the Alum Creek North Park Amphitheater at 6:30 PM on Sunday. This week’s music is provided by the Westerville Symphony.
