1. Columbus Arts Festival At The Scioto Mile

This weekend Friday June 10th through Sunday June 12th head down to the Scioto Mile for the Columbus Arts Festival! There’s something for everyone at this event! 3 performing stages, local artists, hands-on activities and more! As always this family friendly event is free to attend!

2. Family Tech Fair At Tremont Library

Visit the Tremont library on Friday June 10th at 5pm for the Family Tech Fair! Code a robot, draw with a 3-D pen, complete a circuit and more! This event is located in the youth activity space.

3. Sweet Grass Farm Field Day At Sweet Grass Dairy

Friday June 10th starting at 4pm visit Sweet Grass Dairy! Meet farm animals, learn about regenerative agriculture and enjoy the beauty of Sweet Grass Dairy!

Get ready for a weekend of fun in Ohio’s great outdoors as the Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR) hosts Alum Creekend. The weekend-long event celebrates the opening of the park’s new Marina building with games, paddling demonstrations, a Touch-A-Truck, Storybook Trail Hikes, music, fishing, and more. Families are invited to join all the festivities on June 11 -12 at Alum Creek State Park.


4. Fun Friday At Bexley Public Library

Friday June 10th starting at 5pm visit the Bexley Public Library for an evening of live music and delicious food. Performer Lily Bloom will be playing a mix of originals and covers. Food trucks will be available to dine at from 5pm-7pm.

5. Deliver Meals (and Kindness) to Homebound Neighbors

Did you know Seeds of Caring has a team of families who deliver meals to neighbors who are unable to leave their homes? LifeCare Alliance’s Meals-On-Wheels program provides thousands of nutritious meals every day that are dropped off by caring individuals, fulfilling the needs of nourishment AND human connection. 6. Tour de Grandview Bike Race

See world class bicycle racing through the streets of Grandview on Friday June 10th starting at 5:30pm. See the map located in the link for where the race will pass through. Lots of events, activities and excitement will also be available for spectators and cyclists alike!

7. June Franklinton Friday

Friday June 10th starting at 6pm head over to 400 Square for Franklinton Friday! Support local artists and creatives as you visit Franklinton Friday.  There will be murals on display, plenty of local art to see in the galleries, shopping with Friendship Flea and Donut Sundae Comedy.

8. Sing 2 Drive-In Style Movie At Mountview Christian Church

Friday June 10th at 7:30 visit Mountview Christian Church for a drive-in style movie of the hit movie Sing 2!

9. Twilight Tram Tour At Sharon Woods Metro Park

Friday June 10th At 8pm enjoy an hour-long tram ride through the park as you learn about nature’s night shift and the animals that are just starting to come out for the night. 

10. Friday Night Flicks At Sycamore Creek Park

Friday June 10th at dusk enjoy a movie on the big screen at Sycamore Creek Park. This week the movie being played is Encanto.

11. COSI- The Science Of Big Machines Opening Weekend!

Saturday June 11th is the first day for the big machines exhibit at COSI. Learn with engineers about all of the big machines it takes to get jobs done.So many fun big machines will be on site to explore!  This event is located outside on the west side of the building and is included with admission to COSI.

12. Storybook Village 2022 At Ohio Village

Saturday June 11th and Sunday June 12th visit Ohio Village for their Storybook Village event! At this event storybook characters will magically come to life! Other favorites such as Elephant & Piggie and Pete The Cat will be there too! Tickets, times and pricing available in the link above.

13. Kids’ Take & Make Craft: Father’s Day Craft At IKEA 

Saturday June 11th starting at 10am stop by IKEA with your IKEA Family Card and pick up a Father’s Day Take & Make craft. 

14. Touch-A-Truck At Buckeye Valley High School

Saturday June 11th at 10am join the Delaware County EMS for a fun touch-a-truck event at Buckeye Valley High School.

15. Baby Shark Storytime At Tremont Library

Saturday June 11th at 10:30am visit the Tremont Road Library for a fun Baby Shark Storytime. At this event there will be shark stories, dancing and a shark puppet craft.

16. The Bee Collective At Franklin Park Conservatory

Saturday June 11th at 11am visit the Children’s Garden at Franklin Park Conservatory to learn about all things bee related. The Bee Collective will be stopping with their observation hive, beekeeping tools and their knowledge about backyard bees! This event is included with admission.

17. Alum Creek State Park Creekend

Saturday June 11th at 11am visit Alum Creek State park as they celebrate and do the ribbon cutting of their new marina building! There will be plenty of family friendly events at the park all weekend long to celebrate this special day. There will also be special events on Sunday from 12-4pm. Parking will be available at Alum Creek Beach and there will be free shuttles to all activities. (See more info above!)

18. PBJ & Jazz At The Topiary Park

Saturday June 11th at noon visit the topiary park for PBJ & Jazz with Cedric Easton & Circle of Friends. These performances are free and open to all ages.

19. Crafty Saturday At Sycamore Plaza Library

Saturday June 11th at 1pm visit the Sycamore Plaza Library for Crafty Saturday-Express Yourself With Shells! Make your own shell craft with an experienced crafter on how to use shells in art.

20. For Families: Foraging Hike At Highbanks

Saturday June 11th at 1pm visit Highbanks metro park for a fun afternoon of foraging. On this 2-mile hike you will learn about how to forage and what is edible. Bring your bug spray and shoes that can get muddy!

21. Poison & Venom At Battelle Darby Creek

Saturday June 11th at 1pm visit Battelle Darby Creek Metro Park for a hike to learn how to identify toxic plants and animals.

22. Gotta Find ‘Em All! At Blendon Woods Metro Park 

Saturday June 11th at 2pm visit Blendon Woods Metro Park for an interactive Pokemon themed program. Have fun learning about new insects at this event!

23. Cover To Cover Books Presents Reading With Author Erik Jon Slangerup At Tremont Library

Saturday June 11th at 2pm visit the Tremont Library for a reading with author Erik Jon Slangerup. Mr.Slangerup is the author of many children’s books but will be featuring his newest book Molly and the Machines. Registration for this event is required and is available in the link above.

24. Free Movie Night At Columbus Commons

Saturday June 11th at 8:15pm visit the Columbus Commons for a movie on the big screen! This evening the movie being played will be Frozen 2. Pack the blanket and some snacks for this great movie under the stars.

25. Sundae Funday At Clay Street Ceramics

Sunday, June 12th starting at  noon visit Clay Street Ceramics for Sundae Funday! Have fun painting ice cream themed items or anything you wish from Clay Streets wide variety of ceramic pieces. Free ice cream sundaes for all who paint! Cost is studio fee plus the piece of pottery you choose to paint.

26. Westside Community Summer Bash At Westgate Park

Sunday June 12th starting at noon visit Westgate Park for the Westside Community Summer Bash! At this event there will be bounce houses, face painting, food and more! This event is free but registration is required. See link for details.

27. Sunday At The Movies: Paddington At Tremont Library

Sunday June 12th at 2pm visit the Tremont Road library for a movie in the Friends Theater. This week the movie being played will be Paddinton.

28. Creature Feature At Blendon Woods Metro Park

Sunday June 12th at 2pm visit the Blendon Woods Nature Center for Creature Feature where you will learn about a new animal each week!

29. Sprout’s Night Out At Hilliard Station Park

Sunday June 12th at 4pm visit Hilliard Station Park for Sprout’s Night Out! This night is Circus themed. Complete with slit walkers, farm animals, balloon twisters, inflatable slides and more! Enjoy the fountains while you are there too! This family friendly event is free and for all ages.
