1. Community Festival 2022 in Goodale Park
This weekend Friday June 24th-26th visit Goodale Park for Community Festival 2022. So much to see and do at this popular community event! Music, shopping, local food and art are all here at the Community Festival. Visit the picnic shelter west of the playground for the KiDSART activity area to enjoy kids friendly music and crafts.
2. Preschoolers: Creaking At Battelle Darby Creek
Visit Battelle Darby Creek Metro Park this Friday June 24th at 1pm to wade in the creek and discover all of the creatures that call this place home.
3. 4th Friday In Uptown Westerville
Visit beautiful Uptown Westerville for 4th Friday in Uptown Westerville on Friday June 24th at 6pm. This Street festival will include food trucks, live music, pop up vendors and entertainment for all. Support local businesses while you are there too!

4. Rhythm On The River At Bicentennial Park
Friday June 24th at 6:30pm visit Bicentennial Park for Rhythm On The River. This Friday Cory Henry and The Funk Apostles will be performing. Bring a picnic or enjoy one of the food trucks that will be available.
5. Movie Night At Thompson Park
This Friday June 24th at 7:30pm visit Thompson Park for a movie in the park! Free Willy will be the movie being shown. Pack your snacks & blanket!
6. Movie Night At Columbus Commons
Friday June 24th at 8pm see a movie under the stars in downtown Columbus at the Columbus Commons! The movie being shown is The Lion King. Pack your snacks and picnic blanket for a relaxing evening at this free event.
7. Powell Festival 2022
Both Friday June 24th and Saturday June 25th visit downtown Powell for Powell Festival 2022. 2 days of live music, food trucks, children’s activities and local shopping. See link for listing of times and events for each day.
8. 2022 YS Pride Hike At Glen Helen
This Saturday June 25th visit beautiful Glen Helen in Yellow Springs for the 2022 Pride Hike! This 1-mile hike will be guided by a naturalist where you will explore all of the wonders of the trail and even the actual yellow spring! This event is available at both 8:30am and 11am, registration is required.
9. Hilltop Bean Dinner
This festival takes place at 9:00 AM at Westgate Park and celebrates the role of the west side of Columbus in the Civil War. The festival features arts and craft vendors, an antique car show, food and a kid’s bounce house area.
10. Family Fun Days At The Dublin Market
Starting at 9am on Saturday June 25th visit Bridge Park for Family Fun Days. This event will include activities, games, photo opportunities and snacks! Each month there is a different theme to look forward to.

11. Family Dance Party At Sycamore Plaza Library
Saturday June 25th starting at 10am head over to the Sycamore Plaza Library in Pickerington to enjoy a story featuring dancing followed by a family dance party!
12. 10 TV And Metro Parks Outdoor Adventure
Saturday June 25th starting at 10am head on over to Highbanks Metro Park for an outdoor adventure! Splash in the creek, jump in inflatables, visit with animals and much more! Refreshments and food trucks will also be on site.
13. Ocean STEAM At Worthington Library
Saturday June 25th at 10:30am visit the Worthington Library for some fun learning about why sea animals have blubber and what happens when you paint with sea water. Dress for messy fun! This event is recommended for ages 5 and under.

14. Pollinator Palooza At Franklin Park Community Garden
Saturday June 25th starting at 11am visit the Franklin Park Community Garden to celebrate Pollinator Palooza! Crafts, music, garden tours and more will all be at this free event celebrating the humble honeybee and all that they do for our environment.
15. Art on the Farm at Young’s Jersey Dairy
Enjoy a handmade arts and crafts show from 11:00 AM – 4:00 PM and check out local author Renee Casteel Cook signing copies of her Ohio Ice Cream book!
16. Kids’ Craft: How To Make A Midsommer Flower Crown At IKEA
Saturday June 25th visit IKEA Columbus at noon to create your very own Midsommer flower crown. This event requires an IKEA Family membership and registration is also required.
17. 9th Annual Olentangy River Festival
Saturday June 25th starting at noon celebrate the Olentangy River as a family! Live music, face painting, fly fishing, kayaking and more all at this great conservation festival.
18. Fayette County’s Toast To Summer & Hot Air Balloon Glow
Saturday June 25th starting at 1pm visit the Fayette County Airport for the 6th annual Toast to Summer & Hot Air Balloon Glow. There will be local entertainment, food, artisans and vendors on site as well as the majestic sight of hot air balloons at dusk. Admission is free!
19. Family Fun On The Farm At Malabar Farm State Park
Saturday June 25th starting at 2pm gather the family and head on out to Malabar Farm State park! Fishing, archery, farm animals and hands on activities will all be available at this family friendly event.
20. Life In The Sea At Worthington Library
Visit Worthington Library on Saturday June 25th at 3pm for a fun afternoon of interactive experiments from Mad Science Ohio. You will never look at ocean life the same! This is recommended for ages 5-11 and registration is required.
21. Black And Blue Oceans At Worthington Library
Saturday June 25th at 4:30pm visit the Worthington Library for some fun learning about oil spills and environmental issues in our oceans. Mad Science Ohio will be leading these hands-on experiments. This event is recommended for ages 8-13 and registration is required.

22. Family Fun 5K & Movie Night At Bevelhymer Park
Saturday June 25th at 4pm visit Bevelhymer Park for an exciting family 5k or 1-mile run, followed by a movie in the park with a showing of Encanto. Leading up to the movie there will be plenty of fun while you wait!
23. The Grandview Hop
Saturday June 25th starting at 5pm enjoy Grandview’s summer market and evening stroll. This evening market is filled with live music, local art, delicious food and fun activities for all! This event takes place along Grandview Avenue between 1st and 3rd avenue.
24. Energy Cooperative’s Kids Day
Sunday June 26th at Noon visit The Works for a fun filled day of games, bounce houses, crafts and more. This event is for customers of Energy Cooperative. Must show proof of bill for family admission to The Works.

25. MALA Kids’ Craft: Paint A Dala Horse At IKEA
Sunday June 26th at 1pm visit IKEA Columbus to paint a dala horse in honor of Midsommer. Registration is required and you must be an IKEA family member.
26. STEM At The Park With The Works
Sunday June 26th visit Infirmary Mound Park at 1pm for some family fun STEM experiments in the park. Registration for this event is required.
27. The Main Event And Jazz In The Park At Havenwood Park
Sunday June 26th at 5:30pm visit Havenwood park for a live performance by the band Trio Fa2. There will also be food trucks to dine at.
28. Help Columbus Families Meet Basic Needs with Seeds of Caring
We all need help sometimes and we can all give help sometimes. Looking for a way to help Columbus families right now? You can pack personal care kits for those served by Columbus Recreation & Parks’ Rapid Response Program, helping them to meet some basic needs. This program runs through July 10 and can be done from anywhere. Sign up today and take an hour or two to make a difference this weekend!
