Looking for something to do with the family this weekend in Columbus? Try out one of these 10 family-friendly Columbus and Ohiobased events and activities!

1. Cheryl’s 2021 All Store Bake Sale

Chery’s Cookies is holding their All Store Bake Sale through March 6, 2021. Get up to 75% off gifts and deserts and a free gift with a purchase of $50 or more.

2. Skate Around the Town at Easton Town Center

From February 20-March 20 ice skating will be offered at Easton’s Town Square from 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM. Skates are available to borrow and skating is free! There will be 15 skaters on the rink at a time and masks are required.

3. Blooms and Butterflies at Franklin Park Conservatory

Beginning February 20, 2021, the butterflies will be back in the Pacific Island Water Garden biome at Franklin Park Conservatory! Daily butterfly demonstrations will not be taking place but there will be virtual opportunities to watch the butterflies be released!

4. DIY Winter Hike with Columbus and Franklin County Metro Parks

Winter Hikes are happening at your own pace this year and each month different parks are featured. Pick up a Winter Hike Passport from a staff member and collect a patch for completing 7 hikes. 

5. Don’t Let the Pigeon Take Over Storytime! (Livestream)

Enjoy a free story time from Westerville Public Library featuring Pigeon stories by Mo Willems! Perfect for ages 3-6. The story time will take place on Facebook Live on Saturday at 10:00 AM.

6. Mommy & Me Easter Egg Wreath Workshop at AR Workshop Grove City

Make an Easter Egg Wreath during this mommy and me class. You will work together to make one wreath and one wood mini block. The class takes place on Saturday at 11:00 AM.

7. Breakable Candy Kraft at Dublin Toy Emporium

RSVP for Irish Krafts including breakable candies. $10/crafter. You must register in advance. Times available on Saturday afternoon.

8. PNO (Parents Night Out-Saturdays) at Dublin Toy Emporium

On Saturday beginning at 6:00 PM you can shop within the historic Dublin area while your kids participate in an activity at Kreation’s Play Kafe. You must register in advance for this event. See the link for details.

9. Storytime with Cinderella! at Sweet and Sassy Columbus

Enjoy a story time with Cinderella and a princess makeover done by Cinderella herself! Enjoy a dance party and walk the runway! Register online. This event takes place on Sunday at 11:00 AM.

10. Maple Syrup Day with Ashland Parks

Take a road trip to Cooke Park in Ashland County for Maple Syrup Day on Sunday from 11:30 AM – 4:00 PM featuring maple syrup tapping demonstrations, a wagon ride or hike, and all you can eat pancakes!
