1. Pumpkin Picking and Fall Festivals
Fall festivals around Central Ohio are beginning and many of them include pumpkin picking, hayrides, corn mazes, outdoor activities, food and all kinds of fall-themed fun! Click the link for a complete list of fall festivals and pumpkin farms to choose your fun this weekend!
2. Harvest Blooms at Franklin Park Conservatory
Through November 1, 2020, Franklin Park Conservatory will be decked out with fall foliage, pumpkins, mums, gourds and more in the outdoor gardens! The Pumpkin House will be on display! This is included in regular admission or membership. While you’re there make sure to see the outdoor Garden Railway!
3. Go Apple Picking
Going apple picking is a classic fall activity in Central Ohio! Even if you live in the city of Columbus, a u-pick apple farm is less than an hour away and most of them have picking times available on the weekends!
4. Sleepy Hollow Drive-In at Ohio History Center
Each Friday night in October you can watch a “spooktacular” movie at this drive-in experience at Ohio History Center! There will also be drive-thru scenes from The Legend of Sleepy Hollow. This weekend’s movie is Creature from the Black Lagoon and there are two times: 5:00 PM and 8:30 PM. You must get your tickets in advance.

5. 40th Annual Fall Festival at Oakland Nurseries
The Annual Fall Festival takes place at all Garden Centers and include entertainment, food, concessions and activities! Activities vary by location so check the link for all the details. The Fall Festival Days go on from October 1-18, 2020.

6. Mini Fall Festival at Franklinton Farms
On Saturday from 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM come to Franklinton Farms for pumpkin painting, fresh produce, live music and free pizza! Check out their Learning Garden! Masks are required.
7. 9th Annual Chalk the Block Easton Town Center
On Saturday, chalk artists will be creating original designs on the streets of Easton. There will also be live music from local bands. On Sunday, you can head to Easton to see the finished works of art!
8. Free Kid Project w/Adult Registration at AR Workshop Grove City
On Saturday from 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM, for each adult who registers for a project of $65.50 or more, you can bring a child to create their own free project.
9. Fall Pumpkin Fest 2020 at Alder Farm
On Saturday from 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM this festival has free admission! Pick a pumpkin starting at $2. There will be pony rides, cider pressing and more!
10. Black Art in the Park at Goodale Park
Celebrate Black art and artists in Goodale Park on Saturday from 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM. Donations are accepted online. The event is free to attend, ticketing is for attendance estimation.

11. CCC Fall Festival 2020 at Christian Community Church
This annual fall festival on Saturday from 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM includes food trucks, a trunk-or-treat, prizes, inflatables, games, s’mores, photo booth and more!
12. Gahanna Fall Drive-In Series
The Gahanna Fall Drive-In Series features movies and performances outside in Sunpoint Park! Tickets must be purchased in advance online. Saturday night’s concert is by Jamie Said So and it starts at 5:00 PM! Tickets are $10/vehicle.
13. Fall Fun Fest at Living Word Lutheran Church
This free festival takes place on Saturday from 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM and includes a face painter, photo booth, free pumpkins, bounce houses, games, food trucks and free Kona Ice!
14. Old Worthington Oktoberfest in Worthington Historic District
Worthington Oktoberfest takes place on Sunday from 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM and includes live music, games and entertainment throughout the shops and restaurants of Old Worthington.
