If you’re looking for coffee in Hilliard, you won’t be disappointed! There are some great local shops that provide specialty drinks, baked goods and even international delights! From Turkish coffee at Qamaria to coffee flights at New Grounds, there are tons of unique ways to get your caffeine fix!

Qamaria Yemeni Coffee in Hilliard serves Yemeni Coffee and a unique selection of coffee drinks and teas.

When we visited, the co-owner told us that people drive 30 minutes for the pistachio latte so that’s what I ordered! It was amazing! It will be hard for me to try anything else when I return because I will just want that latte!

Don’t skip out on their desserts and baked goods! I stuck with a theme and tried the pistachio milk cake. It was so light and fluffy, I couldn’t stop eating it!

Qamaria Yemeni Coffee Co is a franchise coffee shop but the Hilliard location is the only one in Ohio! If you’re looking for a unique coffee shop in Hilliard, you will not be disappointed with a stop at Qamaria! The employees are so friendly and everything we ate was delicious!

2. Créme de la Créme Bakery & Cafe

This European bakery opened in 2023 and the style of the cafe brings us a taste of a Ukrainian bakery here in Hilliard!

Créme de la Créme Bakery has a delicious looking display of baked goods and pastries to choose from (read more in my list of Columbus bakeries) and they also serves classic coffee options like latte, affogato, mocha, flat white and more.

The shop has a lot of indoor seating and when the weather is nice, there is an outdoor patio on the side and tables out front on the sidewalk!

3. New Grounds Coffee House

I was drawn to New Grounds Coffee House in Hilliard by their coffee flights! Wow! The flight that I had was St. Patrick’s Day themed and included a Shamrock Shimmy, Nutty Irishman, Dublin Ditty and Thin Mint drinks. You can get them hot or iced and I got a combination.

The drinks were unique and delicious and they were pretty much full-sized servings! (Note to self: split them with a friend next time!) I was super caffeinated afterward! Haha!

The coffeehouse serves an extensive menu of coffee drinks including hot, iced and frozen options. They also serve non-coffee options like chai lattes, apple cider, steamers, teas, smoothies, hot chocolate and more!

4. Coffee Connections

Coffee Connections’ flagship shop is in Old Hilliard right on Main Street. Located in a house, there are two floors of seating plus another building in the back called the Annex. The Annex has couch seating and a free play area upstairs!

This coffee shop in Hilliard is very community-oriented and they partner with many local businesses to bring in baked goods, food items and goods for sale within the shop!

There is a large outdoor seating area that’s great during warm weather! Coffee Connections is also right across the street from Hilliard’s Station Park and the fountains there! (Kids can play in this free splash pad during the warm months!)

5. Finjan Cafe

Finjan Cafe recently opened in the Hilliard Square Shopping Center. A second Yemini coffee shop on the list in Hilliard! This coffee shop is part of a chain, but it is the first one in the state of Ohio!

I ordered the Finjan Latte which was flavored with warm spices. It reminded me a lot of the spices in chai. My friend ordered the Adeni Tea which also featured finjan spice.

We split a Lotus Cake which had the flavor and topping of a Biscoff cookie! This milk cake was moist and delicious!

Finjan Cafe also serves crepes, milkshakes, smoothies and waffles! They have several latte flavors available as well as Yemini-style coffee and tea. Tea can be purchased in 3 sizes of pots or single-size servings.

I loved all of the pictures on the wall and the coffee shop has lots of seating and is very clean and cozy!
